What is the benefit of Child ID app ?

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) launched a beneficial security application for children called Child ID – that allow parents to take the data and sends it to the police. When a child is missing, the first thing the police need are photos and information such as height and weight to be distributed to the other officers.

Child ID also provides an email option to government statistics, call 911 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The Child ID Application allow parents to create a file contains important information that is easily accessible when a child is missing.This application will allow you to quickly pull up that data and share it with police; there is also the option to email stats to the authorities or call 911 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Child ID has tips on keeping children and the steps that must be done during the first few hours of a child disappears. If you can get that information into the hands of law enforcement very quickly, You have a much better chance of recovering a child. That is the most benefit. The FBI stressed that it is not collecting or storing any photos. All data resides solely on the app.

Child ID is the first FBI-created app and the agency said it hopes to create more in the future. Child IDs currently only available at Apple App Store. But the FBI plans to expand into other online applications store and the FBI said it plans to expand to other mobile OSes.

The FBI is working with the American Football Coaches Association and the National Child Identification Program on the app. The NCIA provides a physical kit that lets you gather your child’s fingerprints and DNA, and AFCA is producing a public service announcement about the app.
