The news spread from Display Search analyst Richard Shim said the production of screens for the iPad 3 and iPhone 5 have been started. For the iPad and iPhone,  Apple Inc. supplies the sails of the three major companies, Samsung, Sharp, and LG Display .

Shim estimates, so the device will begin to materialize in December 2011. The finished product will begin to be ready to be sent to the world in January (2012). Then be ready to meet the growing demand volume in February and March.

Based on existing estimates, because there is no official information from Apple, iPad 3 will come with a screen 9,7 inches and a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. This means, pixel density reaches 264 pixels per inch. Product iPad 2 is currently only has a density of 132 pixels per inch.

Shim added that Apple is also interested in making the iPad with smaller screens 7, 85 inches. If there is market demand, the end of 2012 Apple will release iPad 7, 85 inches.

Mentioned, Hitachi and Sony are working together to supply screens for Apple measuring 4 inches. Will the 4-inch screen into a screen size of the product the next iPhone, the iPhone 5?

Hitachi and Sony currently said to be currently in the process of combining their displays with Toshiba’s business. A new company will be present from the three business units displays three Japanese giant. In the future, Sharp will supply screens for apple with technology IGZO (Indium, Gallium, Zinc). IGZO screen is called capable of producing a device with a thinner size.

If true,  iPad 3 display is believed to be much more riveting than the iPad 2. This is roughly equivalent to the ‘Retina Display’ which is used on the iPhone 4 with a density of 300 pixels per inch.
