For new blogger : Content is King
Writing quality content for your website/blog as new bloggers can be scary to start with. You may have so much doubt running through your head. Can I really write what people want to read? I don’t know what to say! I am not an expert! You know more than you think and you can write! Remember even as new bloggers you have the ability to write, providing your visitors with valuable content.
Your content should provide your visitors with ‘news you can use’ an opportunity to learn. Remember in your English class that you just hated, include Who, What, Where, When, Why and How in your writing as much as possible. Your content needs to be unique and needs to be frequently updated which will keep visitors returning and the search engines love it.
Write Content Like You Talk for New Bloggers
Does this make sense? For many new bloggers trying to write like you talk can be scary and take a bit of practice. You may think you need to write more eloquently that you would actual talk. This is a big mistake. You need to be natural even in writing.
Writing just as you would talk makes it easier to engage your readers and help them to “listen” to what you are saying. You have a unique voice even if you don’t realize it. Make it easy for your visitors to read and understand. Uncover your voice and let your readers listen. Write for your visitors first and search engines second.
Why Use Bold, Italics and Underline for your content
This is a great tip for new bloggers to use in writing their posts or even designing their pages. Using these formatting tools gives the search engines more weight to your words or phrases. You want to highlight your keywords, however, don’t go crazy using these formatting tools. You don’t want to irritate your readers or for that fact you don’t want to irritate the search engines.
Using these formatting tools also helps your readers/visitors to pick up on the “important” parts of your post or pages. Using these tools will help put focus on what you want your visitors to see or what action you want them to take. It will help break up the article or content making it easier to read and use your keywords. There is a great SEO tool that will do this for you automatically. It will bold, underline and put your key words in italics and you don’t have to do a thing.
As new blogger consistently publishing fresh blog content will get you noticed in the eyes of Google to improve your search engine rankings. If you regularly publish blog posts that are search engine optimized, it will make it easier for your blog and website to rank naturally for those keywords. Go the extra mile for quality content to give your customers something of value in the form of blog posts, articles and tutorials.
Fresh content helps build trust with your customers. Users visiting your website with specific purchase intent are likely to leave right away if they don’t find what they are specifically looking for. But users interested in perusing your content quality content likely will stay and read through your pages. The longer time-spend allows the readers to establish familiarity and trust with your brand. Coupled with quality products, trust turns your interested readers turn into engaged and loyal customers. If you want to stand shoulders above your competitors, publish exceptional, valuable content. Yes, content truly is king.
So, content is most definitely the king for blogger, but people need to know the king exists. Without promotion, your content (king) would be mighty lonely. Content is obvious – I have always argued that content is King. But the King needs a queen and that queen is promotion. I will tell you about the queen on next article.
